1. lf you are driving to us without any Road Fund Licence, ensure that we have taken note of your registration number so that if challenged, you can prove that it is in the process of being tested.

  2. Bring along last year’s certificate if there are any unexpired days left on it. You can have your car tested up to one calendar month before the expiry of the old certificate, and have unexpired days added to your new certificate.

  3. If the car is three years old, and it is its first test, bring the V5 document with you. The certificate can be dated to expire one year after the third birthday of the vehicle. The car can be tested up to one calendar month before its third birthday.  

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT FAILS?

 We can carry out any repair to your car that may be needed to pass the test. You can leave your vehicle in our capable hands and we will phone you with an estimate of the cost before we start any work on your vehicle. This will ensure that there are no nasty surprises with the cost when you come to collect your car
